| Club Policies •Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.•Bring Skaters Health Card to Registration•Cheques payable to East Hants Skating Club, cash, cheques or money order must accompany the registration form.•When paying with cash, payment is due in FULL on registration day. Cheques can be post-dated following EHSC post-dated cheque schedule. •There will be a $20 charge for NSF cheques. Any NSF cheques must be replaced with cash or money order.•For parents registering more than one skater per family, receive 10% discount off the second skater and 15% discount off the third skater. Discounts are applied to the lowest program fees.•Program fees will be refunded on a prorated basis (less 15% administrative fee) and only with a medical certificate. The Skate Canada Fee is non-refundable.•The East Hants Skating Club reserves the right to cancel any skating session due to lack of enrolment and cannot guarantee listed days of lessons due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a power outage or a snowstorm.•All Canskate participants MUST wear a CSA approved hockey or skating helmet. No bike helmets will be accepted •All coaches must apply and receive approval from the East Hants Skating Club prior to teaching with the club. No Coach will be allowed on the ice without approval. Coaches must supply proof of Skate Canada registration. Please send information and your request to the President.Skater Ice Etiquette·Do not interrupt a coach when they are teaching a private or semi-private lesson.·Refrain from displaying negative attitude towards coaches and other skaters at all times.·Never laugh or make fun of another skater.·Always remember and appreciate the hard work and dedication provided to you by your parents, coaches and volunteers of the club.·If you are going to be absent from or late arriving to a lesson please notify your coach beforehand, otherwise be punctual and ready for your lesson.·Socializing is to be done before or after skating lessons. ·Skaters are not permitted to stand/skate around and talk during lessons or “freeskate” time.·Respect the decisions made by your coaches.Note: Disruptive skaters will be asked to leave the ice for the remainder of the session. | |
